Devon County Council has announced a series of new traffic regulations for Exeter, set to come into force on 2 July 2026. These changes are part of the Exeter HATOC Traffic Regulation Tranche 2 Amendment Order 2026.

The new regulations include 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on several roads such as Barley Farm Road, Bull Meadow Road, and Burrator Drive. Additionally, 'No Loading At Any Time' will be enforced on Lyndhurst Road and Manaton Close among others.

For those concerned about parking, there will be 'Limited Waiting' restrictions on Bowhay Lane and Langaton Lane, with specific time limits and no return periods. Pay & Display options will also be available on Cowley Bridge Road with exemptions for certain permit holders.

Residents parking zones have been updated, with Zone E now applicable on Raleigh Road. The council has also outlined various permit costs for residents, businesses, and visitors, including virtual visitor permits and trade permits.

The proposals for some areas like Cheltenham Close and Exwick Hill are not being progressed at this time. Residents who wish to question the validity of these orders can apply to the High Court within six weeks from the order date.
