Plymouth City Council has announced the implementation of new parking restrictions on Crabtree Close, effective from 26 June 2026. This decision is part of the City of Plymouth (Traffic Regulation Orders) (Amendment Order No. 2026.2137356 - Crabtree Close) Order 2026, made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The order introduces specific parking restrictions along certain sections of Crabtree Close. These measures aim to enhance traffic flow and ensure road safety in the area. The council consulted with the Chief Officer of Police before finalising the order, as required by Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

Residents and motorists are advised to review the full details of the order, which are available on the Plymouth City Council's website. Alternatively, individuals can request a hard copy by contacting the council at 01752 668000.

Those who wish to challenge the validity of this order have six weeks from its implementation date to apply to the High Court. This challenge can be based on grounds that the order exceeds relevant powers or that procedural requirements were not met.
