Michael Davey of Boringdon Park Golf Club has submitted an application to Plymouth City Council to vary the premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003. The application seeks to extend the club's operating hours at 55 Plymbridge Road, Plymouth, Devon PL7 4QG.

The proposed changes include extending the hours of operation from 9am to midnight Monday through Thursday, and from 9am to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays, the hours will remain from 9am to midnight. The activities covered by this licence include the supply of alcohol, plays, films, indoor sporting events, boxing or wrestling entertainment, live music, recorded music, and performances of dance.

Those who have any concerns or believe they may be adversely impacted by these changes are encouraged to submit their representations in writing or electronically. Submissions should be directed to the Public Protection Service Manager at the Licensing Office of Plymouth City Council located at Ballard House, West Hoe Road, Plymouth PL1 3BJ. Electronic submissions can be sent to licensing@plymouth.gov.uk and should include a postal address.

Representations must be received no later than August 6. A copy of the application is available for public viewing on the council’s licensing register or at the Licensing Office during normal business hours.

It is important to note that making a false statement in connection with this application is an offence punishable by a fine of up to £5,000 upon summary conviction.
