Plymouth City Council has announced a series of temporary traffic and parking restrictions set to commence in September 2026. These measures are necessary to facilitate various infrastructure works across the city.

Kingston Close and Surrounding Areas

From 7 September 2026, several roads including Kingston Drive, Kingston Close, and Minerva Close will experience full or partial closures. These restrictions will be in place for up to 18 months to enable phased gas main works. Parking suspensions will also affect Nash Close and Beckford Close. Whitleigh Green and Budshead Road

Starting on 9 September 2026, Whitleigh Green and Budshead Road will face temporary restrictions to allow for a phased traffic crossing scheme. Sussex Street

Connaught Avenue

Connaught Avenue will see parking, waiting, loading, and unloading restrictions between numbers 1 and 35 starting from 7 September until 16 October 2026.
