Plymouth City Council has announced its intention to amend parking restrictions on Salisbury Road as part of the Traffic Regulation Orders (Amendment Order No. 2026.2137362). This proposal is made under the powers granted by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and follows consultation with the Chief Officer of Police.

The proposed order aims to address parking issues by adding or amending existing restrictions on specified lengths of Salisbury Road. Full details of the proposed changes, including relevant plans and a statement of reasons, can be accessed on the Plymouth City Council website or by requesting a hard copy via telephone.

Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to review the proposed order and submit any comments or objections in writing to the Service Director for Street Services at Plymouth City Council. Comments can also be submitted online through the council's website. All feedback must be received by Monday October 9 2026, quoting reference Amd.2026.2137362 Salisbury Road.

This initiative is part of Plymouth's ongoing efforts to improve traffic management and road safety within the city. Those who may be affected by these changes are urged to participate in the consultation process to ensure their views are considered.
