Several planning applications have been submitted in Plymouth concerning listed buildings and conservation areas. These applications are made under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and related legislation.

One of the notable applications is for Saltram House, where a condition discharge is sought for the detailed design of a tramper store, including materials and finishes. This follows application 26/00619/LBC.

At HMS Drake, there are plans to replace defective steel lintels with associated masonry repairs and install a replacement timber door. This involves both full planning permission (26/01156/FUL) and listed building consent (26/01157/LBC).

Another application involves the replacement of an external rear door at 44 Adelaide Street (26/01088/LBC).

A significant redevelopment is proposed at 201 Tavistock Road, where existing petrol filling station structures will be demolished to make way for a rental vehicle premises. This includes a vehicle hire office, vehicle preparation workshop, car parking, hard and soft landscaping, and associated works (26/01200/FUL).

Additionally, there is a condition discharge application for 8 Looe Street concerning condition 3 of application 24/00671/LBC (26/00837/CDMLB).

The Dell Children's Centre at 375 Blandford Road is set to be redeveloped into a three-storey residential building comprising 18 affordable flats. This includes vehicular and pedestrian access, car parking, cycle and refuse storage, communal amenity space, and associated works (26/01183/FUL). This application has been re-advertised due to an amended description.

Finally, repairs to chimney stacks are planned at 10 - 15 Looe Street (26/00935/LBC).
