Several new planning applications have been submitted in Plymouth, as detailed in a recent public notice. These applications are under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and related regulations.
One application (26/01197/FUL) involves the installation of an electric vehicle (EV) charger at 51 Emma Place to facilitate pavement channel charging. This development aims to support the growing demand for EV infrastructure in the area.
Another application (26/01193/S73) pertains to land at Fitzroy Road. It seeks a variation of Condition 1 for a previous application (25/00849/FUL), proposing to remove gable parapet walls, alter window and door materials, and change the photovoltaic panel layout of an approved dwelling.
At 1 Berkeley Cottages, an application (26/01198/LBC) has been submitted for replacement roof covering and associated works. This is partly retrospective, indicating some work may have already commenced.
An extensive set of works is proposed at 28 Wyndham Square (26/01150/LBC). These include various external and internal alterations such as window and door changes, removal of a bay window, cladding, replacement of external stairs, installation of air source heat pumps, and other modifications to convert the property into two residential flats.
Additionally, a reserved matters application (26/01114/REM) for 66 - 68 New George Street seeks approval for appearance, landscaping, and layout following outline consent for adding an extra floor to be used as an aparthotel. This application also addresses conditions related to low carbon development measures and biodiversity net gain.
All these applications can be viewed online at Plymouth City Council's planning portal or accessed via internet facilities available at all Plymouth Libraries. Representations must be submitted within 21 days from the date of this notice. For further information or queries, interested parties can contact the council at 01752 304366.
