Several new planning applications have been submitted in Plymouth, as detailed in a recent public notice. These applications cover a range of developments under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and related legislation.

One significant proposal is for Douglass House on Douglass Road, where plans have been submitted for a new residential scheme. This development includes two bungalows, a three-storey building with six flats, and thirteen two-storey houses. This project aims to provide additional housing options in the area.

Another application involves 18 - 20 Market Avenue, where retrospective permission is sought for the installation of an automated teller machine (ATM) and associated signage. This application falls under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 due to the building's listed status.

At Wadlands on Tamerton Foliot Road, extensive conservation work is proposed. The plans include removing non-original features such as render and entrance arches, repairing window cills and timber windows, and applying limewash to exposed stonework. Additionally, there are plans to reinstate the pedestrian entrance in the front boundary wall.

The Plymouth Register Office site is also subject to a new application. It involves the demolition of the former Register Office building and the erection of security hoarding and fencing around the site.

These applications can be viewed online at Plymouth City Council's planning portal or accessed via internet facilities available at all Plymouth Libraries. Representations regarding these proposals must be submitted within 21 days from the date of this notice.
