Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction order affecting parking, waiting, loading, unloading, and pedestrian access in certain areas of the city. This order is part of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 and will impact Littlewood Close and Longwood Close.

The affected roads include a footpath closure between Longwood Close and Hillcrest Drive, as well as the entirety of Longwood Close and Littlewood Close. These restrictions will be in place from 28 September 2026 and are expected to last until 20 November 2026, operating 24 hours a day.

The purpose of these restrictions is to facilitate phased gas main works being carried out by Wales & West Utilities. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid disruptions.

For further information regarding these works or the temporary order, individuals can contact Wales & West Utilities at 0800 912 2999. The notice was issued by the Director for Growth at Plymouth City Council, located at Ballard House, Plymouth.

Those who have any concerns or believe they may be adversely impacted by these changes are encouraged to reach out to the relevant authorities for more details.
