Barnova Limited has submitted an application to the East Devon District Council for a new premises licence at Market Place, located in Market Square, Sidmouth, Devon. The application outlines plans to supply alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises from Monday to Saturday between 8am and 9:30pm, and on Sundays from 10am to 9:30pm. On New Year's Eve, the hours extend from 8am to 1:30am.

In addition to alcohol sales, the application includes provisions for live and recorded music as well as film screenings. These activities are proposed to take place from Monday to Sunday between 8am and 10pm, with extended hours on New Year's Eve until 2am. The premises itself is set to open during these hours.

Those wishing to make representations regarding this application must submit them in writing to the Licensing Manager at East Devon District Council by 18 November 2026. Representations received after this date will not be considered.

The full application can be viewed at the Licensing Authority’s office during normal business hours or online via the council's website. It is important to note that making a false statement in connection with this application is an offence punishable by an unlimited fine upon summary conviction.
