Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction on parking, waiting, loading, and unloading on Lambhay Hill. This measure is being implemented to facilitate necessary fencing works. The affected area extends from number 41 Lambhay Hill to Citadel Road East.

The restriction will be in place from Thursday 5 October 2026 and is expected to last until Friday 20 November 2026. The order allows for these measures to be enforced at all hours throughout the duration of the work.

This temporary regulation is enacted under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14. It aims to ensure the safety and efficiency of the fencing operations being carried out by Allen Fencing Ltd.

Residents and motorists are advised to plan accordingly and seek alternative routes or parking arrangements during this period. Those who have any concerns or believe they may be adversely impacted are encouraged to contact Allen Fencing Ltd at 07500 448828 for further information.

The notice was published by the Director for Growth at Plymouth City Council and appeared in The Herald on 10 September 2026.
