  1. Byde Street, Hertford: Scheduled closure from 21 September 2026 for remedial works. An alternative route is provided via Wellington Street and other local roads.
  2. Swanfield Road, Waltham Cross: Closure from 21 September 2026 for two days due to remedial works. Traffic will be diverted via Central Avenue and Gloucester Avenue.
  3. Marshalls Lane, Sacombe: Closed from 18 September 2026 for utility service works with a diversion via Rowney Lane and Potters Green.
  4. Vicarage Lane, Stapleford: Closure on 19 September 2026 for vegetation removal and brickwork repairs. A diversion is available via Sacombe Road and B158.
  5. Various Roads in Hoddesdon: From 7 September 2026, multiple roads will be closed for gas main works, lasting approximately five weeks.
  6. King Edwards Road, Ware: Closed from 8 September 2026 for three days due to utility service works with a diversion via New Road and A1170 High Street.
  7. B1004 Ware Road, Wareside: Closure from 7 September 2026 for utility works with a diversion via B1004 and A1170.
  8. Whitehill, Dane End: Closed on 8 September 2026 for one day due to utility service works with a diversion via Munden Road and Mill Lane.
  9. C15 (Unnamed Road), Stocking Pelham: Closure from 4 September 2026 for five days with a diversion via Ginns Road and Stortford Road.
  10. Grove Road, Ware: Closed from 4 September 2026 for seven days with no alternative route available but access maintained where possible.

  • Diversion Order Confirmation: The Hertingfordbury footpath diversion order confirmed under the Highways Act will take effect on 3 September 2026.
  • Traffic Management Measures in Braughing: Temporary measures on Uplands starting from 7 September 2026.
