Exeter City Council has announced several new planning applications that could impact the character or appearance of local conservation areas as well as involve changes to listed buildings. These applications are open for public viewing and feedback on the council's website.

Development Affecting Conservation Areas

  • Mill On The Exe, Bonhay Road, St Davids: A proposal has been submitted for the creation of three electric vehicle charging spaces. This includes the installation of a 60kW trio charger and a feeder pillar. Application reference: 26/1067/FUL.

Listed Building Applications

  • 16 Howell Road, Duryard & St James: Plans have been put forward to replace windows on the front elevation at ground floor level. Application reference: 26/1331/LBC.
  • 44 The Strand, Topsham: Proposed works involve modifications to the boundary wall. Application reference: 26/1224/LBC.

Interested parties can submit their objections, comments, or support via the Exeter City Council's planning website or by contacting the assigned Case Officer within 24 days from the notice date of 10 September 2026.
