Broxbourne Borough Council is currently reviewing several significant planning applications under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. These proposals include developments in both Hoddesdon and Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire.
One of the key applications involves the approval of reserved matters related to an outline planning permission (Ref: 07/19/0011/O) for the construction of 43 dwellings. This development is planned for the site of Westfield Community Primary School on Westfield Road, Hoddesdon (EN11 8RA). The application covers layout, scale, appearance, and landscaping aspects of the project.
Additionally, there is a proposal for installing a ground floor external toilet at 72 High Street, Hoddesdon (EN11 8ET), which falls within a conservation area (Ref: 07/26/0820/F).
In Goffs Oak, an outline planning permission application has been submitted for a substantial residential development. This project proposes up to 225 private and affordable dwellings on land at Jones Road (EN7 5LD). The application seeks detailed approvals for access and Phase 1 landscaping while reserving all other matters. The development plans include open spaces with natural green areas, a minimum of 10% biodiversity net gain, and new vehicular and pedestrian access off Jones Road (Ref: 07/26/0828/O).
These applications can be inspected at the Broxbourne Borough Council's website or their offices. Interested parties are encouraged to submit representations within 14 days from the date of this notice. For further details, contact Matthew Gallagher, Planning Manager (Development Management).
